NVLL/Bashers Team Trip

On Tuesday, August 18th, a group of 100 players, coaches, friends and family boarded a Micheal's Transportation Bus and headed south to the Oakland Coliseum. Wearing the orange and black colors of our league, we attended the Oakland A's / New York Yankees game. The group was treated to pre-game food, special VIP credentials and arrived in pleanty of time to see batting practice.

Taking the mound was none other than NVLL alum CC Sabathia. Sitting right field, with our "Welcome to CC Country" banner hanging high, we cheered on our hometown hero to a 7-2 Yankees victory. We are all so proud of CC's accomplishments both on and off the field. It is so amazing to see him as a member of one of the world's most storied franchises and he represents our league and community so well.

It was a tremendous experience for all and we look forward to other special events.
